Being an Associate Professor of UPSI would afford me to pursue the following: 

 

• Gear UPSI as center of excellence in Early Childhood Education in Asia.

 

• Make the Early Childhood Education Department as a place of reference

 

• Apply for R&D grants which are exclusive for associate professors or professors, e.g. Trans Disciplinary Research Grant Scheme (worth up to RM1.5 million). 

 

• Acquire higher consultation fee for UPSI. 

 

• Establish a 4p (Publication, Research, Supervision & Consultation) mentoring mechanism for postgraduate students, lecturers and senior lecturers across different faculties.  

 

• Attract more postgraduate students to pursue master and PhD studies in Early Childhood Program in UPSI.
